Season 1

"The trick is listening because everybody has a story" Triple M's Luke Bona on why your story matters

As cheesy as it may sound every one of us is on a journey, and there are likely some incredible stories that have happened along the way. In this final episode of The Driver’s Seat Dilruk is joined by Triple M’s Luke Bona who has made a career out of hearing the stories of not just the rich and famous, but also everyday Australians.  Luke recalls a story about a hidden sex dungeon (not his own), explains how he got into hot water interviewing Jeffrey Archer, and recalls how a rushed radio ‘birthday announcement’ didn’t come across as special as he had intended. We also meet Linfox truckie Mick Best who explains how his interest in driving began when the queen visited Australia in 1955 and discusses his most unusual passenger – an elephant that he drove through Sydney.
