A lot of the time, when we don’t want something in our life, we actively dislike it, which creates friction and resistance. We actually hold on to the feeling of dislike or anger or resentment and build it up inside ourselves until it becomes overwhelming and drains our creativity, focus and the energy we have to feel happy and healthy. By letting go of these negative feelings and actively disregarding them, we release the power they have over us and return to the state of happiness that we want to be feeling.
